Recent bloodwork indicated the following: Creatinine 0.8 BUN 11 mg/dl Protein 2 mg/dl Urine Creatinine 12.2 mg/dl Protein/Creatinine Ratio 160 mg/g (However, lab results from 2013 reflected 50 mg/g) With the elevated PCR this year, should further tests be conducted??

You need to ask for albumin/globulin ratio and 24 hour urinary protein levels. Get the complete hepatobiliary profile done and eGFR . further you can get abdominal scan too . you get lipid profile, thyroid hormone profile .. HbA1c levels .. After this complete work up we can detact the problem and try to find out the solutions. ..
